Verso Move, one of the main companies in the automotive transformation sector in Portugal and with a factory in Cartaxo, announced yesterday, on October 3, a strategic partnership with the British company GO Pods Micro Caravan for the production of caravans.
The contract was formalized by Luís Rato, founder and administrator of Verso Move, and Taylor Palmer, CEO of GO Pods. The agreement combines the Portuguese company's experience in building transformed vehicles with the innovative design of the English company GO Pods, promising high quality products and greater competitiveness in the market.
With this partnership, Verso Move, created in 2014 and associated with AIP since then, officially enters the British caravan market, reinforcing its international expansion. In addition to already being a leader in the horse transport vehicle segment with the AT.M brand and in the food truck sector with FoodTrucksFactory, the company also recently stood out with the representation of Caselani in Portugal, specializing in RetroStyle kits for Citroën. Now, the inclusion of GO Pods micro caravans promises to further diversify the company's portfolio.
UK expansion and innovative partnerships
The collaboration between Verso Move and GO Pods comes at a time of great growth for both companies. Verso Move brings its consolidated experience in creating transformed vehicles, while GO Pods contributes with its innovative and recognized design in the micro caravan market. This union aims to attract new consumers in competitive markets, both in Portugal and in the United Kingdom.
According to Luís Rato, “the partnership with GO Pods will allow Verso Move to expand its borders and offer innovative products adapted to the needs of British consumers”. Taylor Palmer, CEO of GO Pods, highlighted that “the synergy between the two brands will bring caravans to the market that combine bold design with the construction quality for which Verso Move is recognized”.
Caselani bets on the Portuguese market
At the same time, Verso Move also signed an agreement with the Italian company Caselani with the aim of bringing Citroën's RetroStyle transformation kits to Portugal. This agreement, closed on September 20, was considered an important milestone in the diversification of the company's offering.
Fabrízio Caselani, founder of Caselani, highlighted that this partnership will provide Portuguese customers with the opportunity to transform their Citroën vehicles with a unique and innovative style.
International presence and growth in the food truck market
Verso Move's expansion is not limited to Europe. In the last quarter, the company took its experience in the food truck segment to Angola, in partnership with the brands Beluga and Caviar. According to FoodTrucksFactory, “food trucks have the potential to revolutionize the food sector in Angola, while promoting local culture and creating new opportunities for chefs and entrepreneurs”.
