Qualifying
workers and training companies in digital technologies is the objective of the
2nd edition of the Employment + Digital project, which the Portuguese
Industrial Association (AIP) will start in June. Recently approved by the IEFP,
within the scope of the PRR, the project's training plan foresees the
involvement of 945 trainees, from AIP's associated and partner companies, in a
total of 1460 hours of training, spread over 63 actions. The actions that make
up the training plan result from the experience that AIP acquired with the
implementation of the pilot phase of the Employment + Digital project,
completed in 2022, which had 107 actions and 1934 trainees from 374 companies.
The project
will promote the acquisition of new digital skills by managers and managers of
companies that carry out their activity in sectors heavily impacted by digital
transition processes, contributing to the streamlining and dematerialisation of
their internal and external processes, leading to the improvement of their
productivity and competitiveness. And it advocates, fundamentally, an
upskilling strategy, aimed at improving and acquiring new digital skills,
envisaging a proficient use of advanced level technologies and digital tools.
There are
seven areas covered by the training plan: “Productivity and Collaboration Tools”,
“Digital Commerce”, “Cybersecurity and IT Security”, “Social Media Management”,
“Data Analysis” and “Business Intelligence”, and “Industry 4.0”.

efficient communication both internally and externally, with customers and
suppliers. It also facilitates the work of leaders and managers, by permanently
monitoring the development of activities, facilitating delegation and
decision-making processes.
The “Digital

support companies and their employees in digital communication and online
marketing of their products and services, boosting the conquest of new
customers and markets, namely external ones.
In the area
of "Cybersecurity and IT Security", one of the biggest concerns
motivated by the growing digitization of the economy and society, it is
proposed to carry out actions that will enable companies and their workers to be
trained in the importance of adopting good practices and mechanisms of digital
security, recognizing the type of threats that may occur, identifying
vulnerabilities in their organization and individual behaviors that may
inadvertently jeopardize the security of systems and platforms in the company.
The “Social
Media Management” area will enable the integration of the creative vision of
advertising with the analytical approach of marketing, which makes it possible
to develop strategies with a high impact on the visibility of the company and
its brand, oriented towards the ideal target, with more accurate forecasts.
concrete optimization measures and return on investment for campaigns, whether
paid or organic.

areas of "Data Analysis" and "Business Intelligence",
actions are planned that will allow the development of skills in the area of
exploring and processing data, interactive and collaborative, for a real-time
analysis of business KPIs , essential support for decision-making and definition
of action, with the resulting gains in competitiveness.
