66 years later, Ascendum remains focused: always going further
Founded in April 1959, in
Coimbra, Ascendum has
become one of the world's largest distributors of Volvo Construction Equipment,
among other original equipment manufacturer brands. In 2024, this multinational
company with family roots achieved around 1.3 billion euros in revenue,
resulting from its activity in the sale, rental, services and supply of parts
for construction, infrastructure, industrial, agricultural and truck equipment.
It currently has 1,700 employees and has operations in the following markets:
Portugal, Spain, USA, Turkey, Mexico, Austria, Hungary, Czechia, Croatia,
Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
