Zomato, the restaurant discovery app, will offer 100 scholarships in all courses at the Ironhack technological school, worth more than 100 thousand euros. There is even a scholarship available that covers 100% of tuition fees. Applications are open until the 22nd of August, here.

United, Zomato and Ironhack promote access to technological education and combat the shortage of professionals in this area, enabling young talents to respond to any market challenges, through scholarships directed to four intensive courses with practical methodology that the school offers: Web Development, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and UX/UI Design.

Courses can be taken full-time (9 weeks) or part-time (24 weeks), in person or online, and do not require prior experience in the area.

Candidates can take bootcamps from any part of the country, and they must only be over 18 years of age, have an intermediate command of the English language and meet the selection criteria. After completing Ironhack bootcamps, students have access to individual career tracking, which facilitates their entry into the workforce.

Mariana Boavida, Zomato's Marketing Manager, highlights the importance of this partnership, which is no longer new: “It is the third year that Zomato has associated itself with Ironhack, reinforcing our commitment and confidence in national talent, which go hand in hand with technological innovation. It is with great pride that we offer a full scholarship and more than €100,000 in support so that more young people have the unique opportunity to change their lives or strengthen their skills. More than just finding restaurants, Zomato allows you to discover a new future with Ironhack.”

Catarina Costa, responsible for the Lisbon campus of Ironhack Portugal, highlights the advantages of this common effort: “This partnership aims to reinforce the efforts that we have been making to create more opportunities for access to revolutionary technological education, such as the one that Ironhack offers. Re-launching this program together with Zomato is something that makes us very excited and confident that we are training a generation of technology professionals fully prepared for the technology market.”
