Cybersecurity Workshop supports SMEs in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area
On December 10th, at 10am, Espaço Fortuna, in Quinta
do Anjo, Palmela, will host a workshop dedicated to cybersecurity, with the aim
of training small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in the Lisbon Metropolitan
Area to face the growing challenges of digital threats. The initiative comes
from AIP, as a member of the consortium of the Regional Cybersecurity Center of
the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, a partnership between AIP and Grupo
Autónoma, Oeiras City Council and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, which
joined efforts to provide SMEs with practical tools and effective strategies in
the area of IT security. The workshop will include practical and theoretical
sessions, covering the topics: the importance of cybersecurity in SMEs,
demonstration of good practices in digital security, data protection and GDPR
compliance and response to security incidents. Participants will have access to
a moment of debate and questions, with space to ask questions and share
experiences, culminating in the presentation of free resources to delve deeper
into the topics covered. Participation is free, but places are limited.
Interested companies can guarantee their participation by filling out the registration form.
