TAP has already transported more than one million passengers on its connections between Portugal and Brazil until July 2023 and is even 30% above last year's numbers on the 13 routes from Porto and Lisbon. The relaunch of the Portugal Stopover Program has played an important role, as it allows stays of up to ten days in Portugal, on the way to or from Europe, in addition to other benefits, such as 25% discounts on a second trip to a destination in Portugal or offers from more than 115 partners. As one of the priority markets, as of October 29, with the start of IATA winter, TAP will have up to 81 weekly flights to Brazil. TAP currently flies to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador.
