SEL – Salsicharia Estremocense S.A. was distinguished by NERE – Núcleo Empresarial da Região de Évora with the “Business Sustainability Award” for the work developed within the scope of social and environmental responsibility, one of the focuses of this exporting family company with 39 years of activity, considered a reference in the national agri-food sector and an increasingly relevant agent on the global scene.

Mário Arvana, administrator of SEL, received the award from Rui Espada, president of the Board of the Évora Business Association, on the occasion of the 1st NERE Business Gala, which took place in a hotel in the city and was attended by the minister of Territorial Coesão, Ana Abrunhosa, the Regional Director of Culture of Alentejo, Ana Paula Amendoeira, and José Eduardo Carvalho, president of AIP, among others.
