Corporate downsizing and grouped issuance of bonds for SMEs under discussion at AIP

The AIP will hold the conference “The fundamental challenges of capitalization and financing of companies”, on March 28, at 2 pm, in the Association's Presidential Room. Opening by José Eduardo Carvalho, president of AIP, is followed by the presentation of the study 'New instruments for the capitalization and financing of companies - the creation of grouped debenture loans and new financial and tax incentives for capitalization', by Marta Carvalho, from PwC.

This study has two aspects: the first consists of a proposal for the creation of financial and fiscal instruments to boost business resizing initiatives to support Merger & Acquisition operations. The other defines a pooled bond issuance model for SMEs.

The program also includes a round table with participants Ana Carvalho, from Banco Português de Fomento, Isabel Ucha, from Euronext, Gonçalo Regalado, from Millennium BCP, and Franquelim Alves, from Europartners.
