Greece and Equatorial Guinea were the markets where AIP took national SMEs during the month of May. The objectives were to identify new customers, new business partners and potential scientific partnerships, find distributors of the national product and explore opportunities within the scope of renewable offshore. The mission to Athens was focused on the activities of the Economy of the Sea, with business meetings between national and Greek companies, participation in institutional moments and networking with Hellenic entities. Individual SME agendas were developed with the involvement of the AICEP delegation in that country. This action coincided with the visit to this market of a ministerial delegation, composed by the Minister of the Sea, Ricardo Santos Serrão, and by the Secretary of State for Internationalization, Eurico Brilhante Dias, on an economic diplomacy mission within the scope of the Blue Economy.

The mission to Equatorial Guinea involved the participation of companies in the areas of industry, food processing, transport, architecture and advertising, at the International Fair, held within the framework of the Business Summit in Malabo 2021, which included the participation of companies from different countries in the country. CPLP. National SMEs were present with a stand space, where they presented their offer. They also had the possibility to meet with companies from the different markets present, to contact institutions that support international business and to carry out business networking. Both actions were carried out under the joint internationalization project Negócios no Mundo, led by AIP and co-financed by Portugal 2020.
