New application phase and increase in support from the Apoiar Gás Program

In the next few days, the 4th application phase of the Apoiar Gás Program will open, with support for gas-intensive companies. In addition to the Notice covering the 4th quarter of 2022 (the eligible period will be from 1 October 2022 to 31 December 2022), a new specific Notice will also be launched for the two new support modalities for companies with higher consumption high - 2 million euros - and with operating losses - 5 million euros.

The “Support Gas Intensive Industries” Program aims to help the liquidity of the companies most affected by the exceptionally sharp increases in the price of natural gas, through a non-refundable incentive that facilitates the continuity of economic activity and the preservation of productive capacities and of employment. This program is aimed at companies that use energy intensively.
