Metalogalva, a multinational that has stood out for more than 50 years in the area of engineering and production of metallic structures, was one of the companies distinguished with the COTEC 2024 Innovative Statute. It has 22 industrial units, of which 10 in Portugal, employs more than 1700 workers , is present in 12 countries and exports to 100 markets.
Led by the Santos Silva brothers and associated with AIP, the Trofa company, which is the oldest company in the Vigent Group, saw its performance recognized by the association that promotes innovation and business technological cooperation.

Founded in 1971, Metalogalva – Irmãos Silvas S.A., has a turnover of around 210 million euros and an export volume that reaches 178.5 M€.
Develops activity in the design and manufacture of metallic structures, with the capacity to carry out prototype tests, both in terms of assembly and structural resistance.
Its products find applications in various sectors, including lighting (public, high mast and decorative), energy transport, telecommunications, highways, railways and renewable energy. They are subject to a corrosion protection treatment, using hot galvanizing, with the option of additional painting (duplex system).
