Gas-intensive industries can turn to non-reimbursable support
The “Supporting Gas Intensive Industries” Program aims to support the liquidity of companies most affected by the exceptionally sharp rises in the price of natural gas, through a non-refundable incentive that facilitates the continuity of economic activity and the preservation of productive capacities and of the job.
This program is intended for industrial companies with establishments in the mainland, whose unit gas costs between February and December 2022 are at least twice the average costs of 2021, which are located in sectors with intensive use of gas or which have a total cost of gas purchases in 2021 of at least 2% of annual turnover.
Support is awarded in the form of a non-refundable grant, with a support fee of 30% being applied on the eligible cost. For more information and application preparation: consulta@aip.pt or 213 601 020.
