“Great concern for its people” gives the Career Award to Commander Rui Nabeiro

An example of dedication and care for his employees, the emblematic entrepreneur Rui Nabeiro, associate of AIP and founder of Delta Cafés/Grupo Nabeiro, one of the main European family businesses, was awarded the Career Award at the XI Human Resoures Awards.

“Rui Nabeiro has distinguished himself throughout his career for his great concern for his people”, said Ricardo Florêncio, CEO of Multipublicações Media Group, during the award ceremony, held on May 31, at O ​​Clube – Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisbon.

In the words of that manager, Commander Rui Nabeiro, “he created a highly successful group, here and abroad, but always with an imprint, with a culture, a vision based on values, in which people came first”.

“A true reference in Portugal, Rui Nabeiro was born in 1931 and started working at the age of 12. At the age of 19, he took over the management of Torrefação Camelo, Lda., and at the age of 30, in a 50 m2 warehouse, he started his own business, creating the best-known coffee brand in the Portuguese, Delta Cafés", recalled the CEO of Human Resources , by designing the life course of the Campo Maior entrepreneur.
