Economy of the Sea: diagnosis of potential for internationalization and attraction of FDI
The first two information sessions aimed at publicizing the studies carried out within the scope of the AIP project, called OCEAN.pt, will take place this month. On the 15th of February, in Sines, and on the 28th, at Praia do Porto Novo, in Torres Vedras.
These studies focus on 5 sectors of the Economy of the Sea: marine living resources, non-living marine resources, maritime transport, shipbuilding and repair, and port activities. And they analyze the internationalization and FDI attraction potential of activities linked to the Economy of the Sea, and international trade patterns. A study on the target countries of business missions under the project (France, Italy and Germany) will also be presented. Entrepreneurs and employees of companies and entities operating in the Economy of the Sea sector are invited to learn about the comparative analysis carried out. Confirm your presence here.

The main objective of the OCEAN.pt project is to reinforce the internationalization of the Economy of the Sea and its attractiveness and reputation abroad, investing in the business training of SMEs to increase their exports and attracting FDI that adds know-how, scale and greater national presence in the global value chains of the sea.
