Delta is the Portuguese company where ESG, an English acronym used to designate the environment, social responsibility and governance, weighs the most on the value of the brand, according to a study carried out by the consultancy OnStrategy: 17.2% of the value of the coffee brand must compliance with sustainability criteria. The EDP brand is, among large companies, the one that stands out the most.

Led by Rui Miguel Nabeiro, the brand is valued at 236 million euros and 17.2% of this value, around 36 million euros, is due to ESG attributes.

Onstrategy, which regularly publishes the ranking of the most valuable Portuguese brands, decided this year to publish the percentage of brand value that is related to ESG criteria, based on a methodology for calculating the economic impact of sustainability on their financial value.
