Applications for hiring citizens of Ukraine

The Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) already has a form on its website (www.iefp.pt/portugal-for-ukraine) for companies to express their interest in hiring Ukrainian citizens.

The IEFP is in charge of mapping the skills of Ukrainian workers welcomed under the Portugal for Ukraine initiative launched by the government to support Ukrainian citizens who want to come to Portugal to escape the war.

Two types of hiring aid are available: the ATIVAR.PT Incentive Measure and the Sustainable Employment Commitment Measure.

The same institute will organize courses in Portuguese as a Home Language for these citizens who may already be integrated into the company.
