Changed the Legal Regime for Territorial Management Instruments

On the 8th of July, Decree-Law no. soils.

The extended deadlines are as follows:

• The deadline to include soil classification and qualification rules in municipal and inter-municipal plans is extended until December 31, 2023 (previous deadline: December 31, 2022);

• The deadline for holding the first meeting of the advisory committee or the procedural conference is extended to 31 October 2022 (previous deadline: 31 March 2022).

The diploma also determines that failure to comply with these deadlines determines the expiry of the procedure, without prejudice to the possibility of taking advantage of the acts and formalities carried out within the scope of the same, by deliberation of the municipal council.

This diploma enters into force on July 9, 2022. The new deadlines and rules regarding the classification and qualification of soils take effect from March 31, 2022.
